Standert hat sein beliebtes, in Italien hergestelltes Rennrad Kreissäge RS aus Scandiumlegierung überarbeitet, um es schneller und leichter als je zuvor zu machen, jetzt auch mit komplett verdeckter Führung. Das Scandium-Fahrrad von Dedacciai verfügte bereits über überdimensionierte Rohre, daher war es ein recht einfaches neues Deda-Steuersatz-Setup, bei dem die Kabelführung vollständig intern verlegt wurde. Der Kreissäge RS-Rahmen wird in Italien aus Dedacciai-Scandium-Legierungsrohren handgefertigt, jetzt mit einem bi-ovalisierten Vorderdreieck, neu geformten S-Bend-Sitz- und Kettenstreben für zusätzlichen Fahrerkomfort und schlanken neuen versteiften Ausfallenden für eine verbesserte Schaltleistung.

Letztendlich sagt Standert auch, dass der aktualisierte Kreissäge RS-Straßenrahmen „10 % leichter“ ist als sein Vorgänger. Obwohl unklar ist, wo genau diese Einsparungen von ca. 130 g liegen könnten, da immer noch eine Gewichtsangabe von 1360 g angegeben wird, ist dies möglicherweise auf die Gesamteinsparungen durch die überarbeitete Verlegung zurückzuführen, die leichtere Schläuche ermöglichen könnte?
